hey winpitcher or stone if I send you the two cards could you take scans of hte cards to post? The digital camera is not picking up the creases in the card and my assistant worked on it awhile and a digital camera won't show it without glare. If you have advice how to get a digital camera to give me a better picture I will be happy to do so but just do not have a scanner. I have no problems sending you the cards and something as a bonus for your time to scan them for me!

Mon dieu. This thread is proposterous, though moderately entertaining.
BTW '80scollectors, by requesting his assistance with scans are you implying that WinPitcher is also savvy? I take no offence to my exclusion, though one or two of the savvy among us might....
Lee, rescue us by rekindling one of your poker tourney threads for heaven's sake. That is highly entertaining stuff.

to clarify a board member that is willing to help and post the scans within 24 hours of recieving the cards will recieve a cool bonus that is well worth your time to scan it. Is that fair?
I just want a board member that will do it for me that can show the true condition of the card! I can not get it to show up at all without a glare from the flash in the center of the card

I am a real estae agent and we use digital cameras for pictures of homes and we have no use for a scanner for my business. I fax contracts and offers and have no experience with a scanner if I did have one!
I understand I made a huge mistake ever bringing this up and trust me I would take that back if I could and never even bother asking for some help.
I really wish I had never brought it up and just PM'd stone in the first place.

Why not post the pictures you already took? If the creases are that obvious, should be pretty noticeable with the flash glare.

I never said they were massive creases you could see a mile away and they are creases that are light!!
I can assure you as crazy as this must seem to you- I have two cards with light creases that were described as cards without creases!
Please somebody on this board at least say "yeah that is possible!"
You guys are fun to read when you are on Gary or some hacker who trims cards but one thing I have learned is that I will never jump in and pile on ever again.

I wish I could do it eyebone. The site that has the best tourneys have blocked my way of getting money on there, so I'm playing on a different site now where the tourneys aren't nearly as big. If I can ever figure a way to get money back on Pokerstars, I'll do another one.
Also 1980s, I'm not sure that the guys here are piling on you (well maybe a little)- I think most of us are having fun with this thread since this huge argument has broken out over $18 worth of cards. If it were over $100, I think more here would be sympathetic to you. I think many of us believe you that the cards were either creased in transit or that they have light creases that czar might have missed. I also think that many of us really don't think it's that big a deal since only $18 is at stake and we've all been taken for a lot more in various transactions.
understood CD NUTTS and I will drop the matter and never say another thing about it!
I agree no big deal and will just use them as fillers until I find some that work!

That's probably the way to go. I wouldn't take anything anybody says here too personally- we mostly take shots at each other all in fun. Well, except for stown. I hate that SOB.

Hi, I don't mean to jump in so late, but to the original topic poster: I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but did you do your very best to resolve this issue via PM's or chatting before going public? The reason I ask is that going public should always be used only as an absoulte last resort and when you are 100% sure the seller deliberately tried to cheat you.
But I am sorry to hear your disappointment with your two creased cards. But one thing I've learned is that you can't expect to bat 1.000 on all your cards in all your purchases condition wise.
