Washing Machine coins
I live in a 26-building condominium complex which was built in 1971.
Each building has a coin operated washing machine and dryer.
The machines use US quarters.
On June 5, they removed the old machines to replace them with new ones.
Around noon I went through some of the empty washing rooms and did a search, finding about $3 in change which had been under the machines.
What I found.
A well preserved 1962 US penny.
A token about the size of a quarter. Can anyone identify?
