If you are talking about a 1913 only, I don't think it will happen. Type one's are too sculpted and Type two's relief are too shallow.

<< <i>There is a PR69 1936. In fact, it's pictured in the PCGS grading book. It has very pretty colors.

Yeah, very pretty colors, almost as if they were painted on, if I recall correctly
Now, a Buffalo Nickel graded MS69 would be something I would Love to see!
Another one I love seeing is Solid's MS67 1938-D/S..., I know it's not a 69, but it sure is a pretty one.

I wonder if the owner of the MS69 will crack out and resumbit, trying to get MS70. Imagine the irony if that colorful dude came back AT the second time around
<< <i> David Hall always said when it comes to grading coins add one point for ownership. So in my eyes it's an ms69
So if you sell it to me, will it become MS70?
Thanks, 66RB...I don't care if it's only a 67 - I like this one, too!
I would agree with the consensus, that if a 69 is ever made, it will be a 38-D.

Russ - As I recall, the "maker" of this piece admitted the coin had been enhanced although it honestly would have fooled me.
This has always been my single favorite Buffalo nickel of all time.
I can imagine a Buffalo Nickel that graded MS69.

I have only one graded buff, it's a 1938-D MS66 (SEGS) with nice toning.
