how long should Edgar Renteria be suspended

for throwing a dirty cheap forearm into the guy covering second base yesterday?

Arod catches heat for yelling "Mine" on a pop fly but Renteria does that chit and I dont see any posts or new outrage articles?

The difference between Arod and Renteria is Arod has a history of bull$hit where Renteria is a quiet guy who rarely, if ever acts up.

I agree that was more than a cheap shot. An intentional forearm to a player is just as bad if not worse than a ball being thrown at you. In fact, why was it not considered equal to the swing of a fist? Suspended? I dont know...but I was shocked that he wasnt ejected from the game. That was a LOT more than a spirited hard slide. In fact, it was very unprofessional regardless how quiet he normally is. I was really surprised that there were no players that took exception to that after it happened. Felt bad for the rookie...what is he going to do? He wants to stay up in the big show!

He should be suspended for 10 games.

I'm just glad Dumpster didn't get involved. I'd hate to see him get suspended.

he should have been called safe then thrown out of teh game.
that's it no suspension out of the game. it was a late slide and pretty clear it was on purpose. Renteria doesn't usually play like that but he should have been shown the door

I applaud the rookie Fontenot for responding with his bat, and not with his temper.

Going 2 for 4, with his 1st HR, a Triple and 2 RBIs made him the better man in the end.
