Mixed in with the hoards of common issue mint sheets, plate blocks and foreign stuff I still haven't sorted through, I found these in my inheritance. These have been in the family all these years and were sent to relatives on my mom's side. Just thought I'd share:

ad4400 - The top cover was used from South Salem, Massachusetts on June 20, 1861 (value maybe $150 - $200). The other from Ridgefield, Connecticut, also in 1861 (value $25 or so).

Covers - thanks for the additional info. Adds to the family history behind these. As to the values, I can't envision a situation in which I'd want to sell these but is cool to know.
