From the Heritage Auction. Won it with an Internet bid.... at least I think I won. It shows up in the completed auctions history.

    Terrible photos........There is absolutely no detail in those photos. Can't see the feathertips or the diamonds. Looks like the coin was scanned.......I hope the coin is nice, but it's pretty hard to assertain anything from the photos.

    It is neither... it is Copper-Nickel.

    Doesn't get that designation. Material composition changes in 1864 I think and that is when they start getting more copper (rather than copper-nickel...cupranickel I think it is called) and getting the RD/RB/BN designation. From 1859-1863 is just graded (no color designation).

    Is that a MS64? Looks nicer...given the crappy photos.

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
