NJ detectorists finds....Coin World article

bombs! WW1 and WW2 ordinance. Just reading the article in recent Coin World about the closing of a NJ beach after 1,000's of bombs were found, first discovered by a metal detectorists hunting for coins after the last big storm. I wonder what the detector registered it as? And the look on his face after digging it up- think I would put it back.

    Pah. We've got a lost nuke here on the GA coast. A hydrogen bomb, no less.

    Amazing how cavalier our armed forces were with nukes back in the 1950s and '60s.
