No. Packages are only tracked internally. The info is not available on their website like it is for Fedex but you can call the 800 number or visit a local post office (if they're not too busy to help you) and get the tracking info.
You can only track acceptance and delivery and oftimes even the delivery info is never updated. Tracking can be done from the home page of www.usps.gov
It is worthless.... I have tracked 'delivered' packages for five days after delivery... and it still did not say 'delivered'... usually never says anything.... Cheers, RickO
Their tracking system is really pitiful compared to UPS and Fedex. They state that information will be updated each night - what a bunch of baloney. It usually goes from "electronic information received" (something like that) to showing up in your mailbox. High tech!
Exclusively collecting Capped Bust Halves in VF to AU, especially rarity 3 and up. Joe G. Great BST purchases completed with commoncents123, p8nt, blu62vette and Stuart. Great coin swaps completed with rah1959, eyoung429 and Zug. Top-notch consignment experience with Russ.
Yeah, it's pretty useless. I have one that still shows attempted delivery on April 25th, and the recipient picked up the package April 27th. I have another one that was shipped to PCGS that still just shows accepted, and the coins are already graded and back here. Many examples like that over the years.
