First PSA 10 ever on 1981 Topps Scratchoffs

This sub just popped today and I was thrilled to see this. It's the first ever PSA 10 on a full panel from this set. I opened 10 boxes recently and submited the best I had. These are brutally tough to get high grades on. Sad thing is, unless I find somebody who is familiar with the difficulty of these, it probably won't sell for what it's worth. I honeslty have no clue what it's worth but I guess ebay will let me know.

Unfortunately not much. I had PSA 9's up and only a few sold at $4.99. I lost out on those. I have 6 cases but I wont be opening anymore.

Congratulations! I honestly wasn't expecting a 10 panel to happen anytime soon. Great stuff. You are right that people seem to generally ignore the difficulty of this set. Honestly, they are ugly, and no one collected them 25 years ago. But they should have tremendous appeal to player set collectors -- they just don't (yet).

For what it's worth, I'll easily pay $150- for any PSA 10 of a Schmidt panel, and I would pay $50- for a PSA 9 of Schmidt/Cromartie/Concepcion

I'd also pay about that much for any of the Jim Rice panels in PSA 10 too. I opened a couple boxes thinking that I would submit some on my own, but for the most part I don't think I saw any panels that had a realistic shot of even grading a 9. Too many curved corners, too many dots with light scratches (if that matters), and too many off-centered.
