***My May finds***
Picked up $2.50+ in clad this AM. When I walked from the tot lot across to a ball field I cherry pick good targets. I though this target was a quarter, but it was a ring inside a RING! :-)
925 X 2
A Fit ;-)
Photo Pendant (junk)

<< <i>Very, very cool... I wonder what the story behind that find is... Has to be interesting... Cheers, RickO >>
Could have been a sad love story.
What is the green thing at top left in the first pic?
Nice work there- we'll have to call you Lord Of The Rings for this week.

Could be the rings were put together and worn on a chain at one time. You know, lover away from home and the sweetheart carries both rings until they reunite. Check around for the broken chain
OR, since the inside ring was upside down, it was used to smooth out the "cut out" inside of the top ring, which would cut into the finger a little bit with daily use.
<< <i>It's possible that the top ring was too big, and the inside ring was used to sort of "size down" the top ring. >>
That would be my theory as well. It is the only one that makes sense.
