A keeper ! Solid fields , original crustyness, nice detail. Can't find anything I do not like, other then I do not own it .

My thoughts are that it is so good looking of a coin that if you send it to me right now, I will forgive you for not sending it to me for my birthday last week
Based upon the reverse, it looks like it was cleaned at one time and has retoned. The light areas on the reverse are revealing of a past cleaning. The coin is nice, though.
I may be completely wrong and would welcome yours and others comments.

Very light cleaning perhaps , but I would not through it to the curb.

I think the coin was cleaned at one time as well...I am hoping that the lightness on the reverse will be an artifact of the photo...and that there will be luster remaining with no hairlines.
I like the coin and if it was once lightly cleaned (and how many coins that old haven't been?) it's now retoned and quite desirable. I think I recognize the photography. If the seller's last name starts with the letters SL, I have purchased and received great service from them and would buy from them again, in case you're debating whether to buy it.
I never thought that growing old would happen so fast. - Jim
The obverse looks good to me but the reverse looks like it might be hairlined to me. It looks too light in the fields compared to the area around the highpoints. I could be totally wrong though, hopefully i am because that'd be a beautiful coin if the fields are ok!
Want to buy an auction catalog for the William Hesslein Sale (December 2, 1926). Thanks to all those who have helped us obtain the others!!!

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Second off I agree with the pack. Cleaned and re-toned many, many years ago.
