How to really get super cool coins for free

I just want to let you knw my secret for getting lots of cool coins for free.
Some examples:
1852-D Half Eagle, PCGS VF-35
1862 Indian cent, PCGS MS-65
1908 Double Eagle, PCGS MS-63
1803 half Eagle, PCGS VG-10
1793 Chain Cent, PCGS PO-01
1861 Seated Dollar, VG-10

Everyone gets presents from all kinds of people, ie. Grandparents, grandchildren, spouses, friends, children, parents, et cetera.
Well, if you do business with some internet dealers that you trust a great deal, let those folks who buy you presents know about those dealers. Make sure those dealers have you "likes" and "wish lists" of coins you would love to have in your collection. Would you rather have a hideous new tie (and you don't wear ties) or a new 1876 half dollar in XF that appears to be completely original? By telling those folks who would buy you presents to contact your favorite dealer (who knows you) and asking them to get a present for you for $X.XX dollars, then you have a great chance of getting something cool. The dealers (the good ones anyway), will have a return priviledge, so there is no risk. I've received many, many very cool coins that way. It is always a surprise as you really don't know what you'll get.

It is a win-win situation. It works for me, any way. My birthday this year (on March 21) I recieved an 1861 Seated dollar and a 1876 half dollar courtesy of Dick Osburn.

I got an AU bust half dime from my Pop this Christmas. I was floored, first time anyone had ever taken the time to actually get me a coin for a gift and it was the exact coin I love to collect, a die marriage I need to boot. He got it from BrokenCC...good guys, they treated him well and didn't know that he was my Pop.

Damn, why didn't I think of this. I might have to get divorced just to get married again image Instead of a gift registry at store xyz, I can list my wedding gift registry at Anaconda Rare Coins or other equally appealing dealer.

I'm surprised more e-commerce packages don't include a gift registry module, not just for weddings, would be great for b-days and Christmases.

It cost me $4.05 to ship that damn rock!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!
