Thanks everyone for playing and again I give a big thank you to Russ and the CU Boards!
I have only been on these boards a short while... but in that time have come to read a lot of interesting thoughts and even seen some scuffles (love the popcorn man)... but most of all what I have found here are nice generous and helpful people. And I am having a great time... I generally work late at night a lot so I am a night stalker on here. But Anyways... I just wanted to share such a Generous event. About a week ago or so I was browsing the BST board for the heck of it and ran across one from Russ ("Mr. Kennedy" Russ in case there are others). I saw "65 Type coins for $55 shipped"... I said... huh... wow that seems low... but he seems like a well respected guy around here... what the heck... so I did it. well, they were shipped light speed first off and when I saw what he sold me i was shocked to say the least... A whole bunch of coins from seated, barber, slq, bust, and oh yeah... the trade dollar! yes they are circulated and some have some problems... but wow wow wow... not $55 worth by a long shot... I would gather at least 3-4 x that in value. I of course have thanked him privately.. but I just felt the need to post this because good deeds should be highlighted. I only hope that I to can donate to these boards with any knowledge that I have as well.
So, I want to say thanks to all you of you Cool and Generous people here by having MY OWN first contest... so here it goes...
you will see here a "small" sampling from the collection I received from Russ.... along with a mystery coin (to me) from the same set ...
