Update w/reverse of buffalo! First Buffalo Nickel! + possibly some gold...

Well the campground yielded one more nice old coin just before dark tonight- a 1926 Buffalo nickel- first one I ever found and it even has a date! Not much else for change just alot of pull tabs. Guess the little bit of March that I got to do some hunting wasn't to bad. Now I just need a standing liberty quarter and some barber coinage - those are my goals left for this year.



Went back again today not much in coin- 28 cents, best being a 1911 wheatie, but did find a bracelet that I think is at least gold plate, doesn't feel heavy enough for solid gold, has initials engraved on heart shaped clasp.

Nice Buff. I think I dug a 1926 myself in similar shape.

That's pretty nice for a dug Buff. They tend to come up pretty nasty, unless one is lucky enough to live in an area with very kind soil conditions.
