Other than a Spanish half real that I found with a metal detector years ago, it would have to be a 1794 half dime. But that's only until I can add a 1792 half disme to the reference collection.
They that can give up essential Liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither Liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin
Wow! Some very nice old coins from everyone! Including the ancients.
I have an ancient. I think from Greece. No pic though. This is currently my oldest U.S. mint piece.

I picked this up in Charlotte for $300. It was in a NGC holder graded Fine, but I like my ancients raw, so I broke it out.
It's a denarius from 2 BC to 4 AD. It shows Octavius on the obverse with the legend CEASAR AVGVSTVS DIVI PATER PATRIAE. The Reverse shows Gaius Caesar and Lucius Caesar holding shields and spears. At the base is CL CAESARES AVGVSTI with F COS DESIG PRINC IVVENT around. It's not the best example, but it did circulate.
Since I going to Rome tomorrow, I need something to spend.
It's not my oldest coin - My Alexander Tetradrachm takes that honor.
