Coin dealers advertising on local TV

Any out there you know of? There is one in the Lansing, Mich. area - Liberty Coin service who have been doing it off and on
for a number of years. The coin business must be pretty good right now as they re-started their advertising campaign just
recently. Their main pitch is in buying coins not selling them. I have been to their store and they have a decent selection of
coins but I think buying is their main thing. Located in the basement of a local bank it is probably the most secure location for
a coin shop that I have ever seen.

Not only secure, but a constant source of 'floaters' that come in through change or bank supplies. I would bet they buy donuts for the tellers every day... Cheers, RickO

I have been to Liberty's store before. Nice place and they are good to deal with. Jade Rare Coin in Grand Rapids is also in the basement of a bank, adjacent to the vault. I found that office after a long search of about 20 locations in the downtown area. They didn't want to rent it to me (when James and I owned Jade), but I begged and pleaded and they let us have it. Basically we had free security guards 24/7 (big bank). Never had a single security incident.

Regarding your question though, I don't know of any coin dealers around here (Kalamazoo) who run TV ads.

I have seen TV ads on local stations in the past for the big hotel buying operations that roll through town a couple times a year, and while I was in Buffalo, there was a coin and jewelry kiosk in the middle of a strip mall parking lot (talk about a security nightmare) that ran buy ads...

I've bought from Liberty Coin Service, and also sold to them.
They have a good store in a bank basement as Dennis has noted.
They buy a lot of junk silver. I was there once when the mail came. I couldn't believe how many packages of coins came to them. All of what I saw, went right into coin counters, so it had to be junk silver.
