Is this Roosie worth sending to PCGS.

Sharp looking coin I think. Still a rook at the Roosies so a little help sure will not hurt. Do not hold back. Be critical.

Thanks Much.

    Looks FB.

Any scratches on the rim under that tone?

    Hi Ken,

I say 65FB with a shot at 66FB. I don't see any major distractions. Good luck!

    Looks good!

That "D" looks like it could be a RPM, did you look at it closely?

Next time you take a photo of a Roosie, Don't use the sharpen image, and you won't get all those little brite marks all over the coin.
    Makes picture gradeing tough.

    Hi Dan

I did not use the sharpen image option. The obverse is right out of my camera and the reverse was just made a little lighter. My old sony is hard to get good images with. It shows every little thing a coin has and actually has helped me see some things I miss with my weak eyes. For some reasons I have never been able to get rid of the hot spots with this camera.

    Hi All

Thanks for the thoughts. The coin is a 66FB, I think, with a shot at 67 if pcgs is consistant with the way the previous submissions have been graded. The hit up in the hair concerns me some but it is well hidden and not in the prime focal point.

    Cheers.

    Ken

    No.

Appears to me to be an arching scratch (mark) from the temple to the back of the head through the hair.....if so, forget a MS67 grade! FB, appears so. Is it worth while for a MS67FB? Yes. For a MS66FB? Maybe. I'd pass.

And, its not what I'd call an especially attractive coin to boot!

    Hj Craig.

No scratch on the coin. I think what you are seeing is the struck up hairline. After Dans constructive comment, for me anyway, I went out a bought some lower watage lights to use. The new pictures follow this comment. BTW, my coin is ugly ?....image

    Hi Ken,

Viewing the new photos, I can see it in a 66FB holder, although the new pics bring out the hit in the hair more. Good luck!
