Nope. It was at a Par-3 course I typically play at and it was the 2nd hole. It's approximately 150 yards but you can't see the green from the tee box. I hit the shot with my 8-iron and it felt like a beautiful shot. The problem was that I lost track of the ball and hoped it didn't roll off the side of the green down the big hill. After my buddies took their shots, I headed up towards the green and spent a few minutes looking around the edge to try and find the ball. Just for kicks, I went and looked in the hole in case a miracle happened. I got to the hole and saw my ball with my initials on it in the green marker that I use to mark my golfballs. My first, and only, hole-in-one.

I just started putting together some 2007 Topps Heritage Baseball. Nice cards! Makes me want to collect the whole set! They're still a bit expensive though!
5. What is the main focus of your collection? Focus? Am I supposed to focus? I collect everything! If you focus you miss all the things around you. Better to diversify than to put all your eggs in one basket.
6. What was the first pack of cards you remember opening? Star Wars. Don't have any anymore!
7. What is the centerpiece of your collection? I don't have a collection! I have a hoard! No centerpiece! I got to keep the centerpiece from the last holiday party I went to. It wasn't that special.

28. Would you ever sell your collection if you ever got in bad financial trouble? If it would help keep the roof over my family's head. A lot of my collectibles would be almost impossible to replace. They would probably be the last things I would sale. For example I sold the two different Tom Flores "Los Angeles Raiders" business cards that I had. Since they are back in Oakland and Tom Flores has moved on to a new home, I probablly would have a hard time finding one of those cards. Finding both would be near impossible.

<< <i>"Hitting a hole-in-one in Golf"
thats impressive unless of course it was miniature golf. >>

2. Age? 41
3. Family? Yes! Debbie and I have two boys, age 7 and 3. Both are autistic with blond hair and blue eyes.
4. How long have you collected? Since I was born! If you mean sports cards I collected from 1988 - 1995. I lost interest when the prices started going through the roof.
8. What is the best deal you have ever made (most money made)? I bought a complete factory set of 1989 Score Football for $13.
9. What is the worst deal you have ever made (most money lost)? I bought complete sets of Topps, DonRuss, Fleer, ProSet, etc.
10. Would you still enjoy collecting cards if they were worthless? Why would I spend $2, $3, $5, $10 a pack if they were worthless? I do enjoy collecting worthless business cards! But they're not worthless to me?
11. What is your favorite team (maybe one in each sport)? I don't have a favorite. I like most of the California teams but I've never been a Dodger's fan.
12. Who is your favorite player (maybe one in each sport)? No favorite.
13. If you have children, do they collect? They collect toys but they play with them.
14. What do you do for a living? I work for a newspaper and drive a contracted truck for the USPS.
15. Do you have any other hobbies? Photography, website building, collecting everything, searching for treasures in all the wrong places.
16. (Touchy, I know, though I don't know why) What is your religion? Denomination? My what? I like $20, $50 and $100!
17. (Another touchy one) What is your political affiliation or leanings? Republican? Democrat? Independent? I plead the 5th! I don't vote by partylines. I'll vote for a republican or democrat if I want to but not because I have to!
18. What is your favorite current TV show? Smallville! I just finish watching season 1 - 4 on DVD. I need to get season 5 now!
19. What is your all time favorite TV show? That's tough! I've watched a lot of things growing up that I like so it would be hard to pick a favorite. I like Sci Fi, Fantasy, Time Travel, Space, etc. Quantum Leap was my favorite when it was in production.
20. If you were designing a "Mt Rushmore of Sports", who would be on it? Mickey Mantle
21. What would be your dream job? Doing what I like, making great money, being artistic, leaving something behind as my legacy. It would have to be in the photography field. Hmmm..... Making Hit Movies without all the headaches! LOL!

23. If you played sports, how far did you go? Never Played
24. What was your best sports achievement? Not being picked last in P.E.
25. Have you ever dunked a basketball on a ten foot rim? If yes, how tall are you? no but I made a basket from under the other rim when I was in the 6th grade once at recess. I even had one witness!
26. Best sports moment you've ever witnessed in person? I worked with Lorenzo Neal a couple times at the Fresno Convention Center when he played for Fresno State. Is that a sports moment?
27. What would you change about our hobby? I would get rid of Greed and Hype! Hmmm. Is that possible?
29. How many time per day do you check your submission online? 99.9% of the time that would be between zero and one.
30. What is your favorite book? I don't read books that much. My favorite is the dictionary. If you need to know what a word means or how it is spelled, you can find the answer, as long as you know how to spell it. LOL
