How many hours per day do you read/contribute to this forum?

How obsessed are you to be hanging around here to read the latest on the new dollars, platinum mintages, VAM's, extra leafs, Mint snafus, eBay scammers, buffaloes, etc.

I probably spend about 30 minutes to an hour. Could be doing something less productive and I tend to always learn SOMETHING!!

About 15 minutes a day, unless there is something cooking. Like a Laura wannabee thread, or a "I went to a coin show and guess what?", or any Newsworthy report that is coin related. image

I watch it all day long while I am here in my store. Cummulatively, I would imagine probably an hour or so/day.

It's cyclical. When I'm sick, on vacation, and snowed in (all of the above, this week) I spent an awful lot of time here. Under normal circumstances, considerably less.

It's my home page. Cycling many times a day I go down the list of threads, right clicking then 'open in new tab' for each I what to read, closing as I finish. Six different forums, and research keeps me busy in my busy doing nothing day. Then I take a break every few hours to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine or fly a sailplane looking for lift. I only way I know what day of the week it is by the trash pickup. It's either Tues. or Fri. image

As for me. I have it on all day floating in my tool bar, eBay floats when I have a coin for sale or tracking some coin.

A wealth of information from smart boys and girls on this forum. A great thanks (from me) to all that have contributed.

In total, about an hour to an hour and a half throughout the day. I'm self-employed so when I'm not moving snow I'm sitting at my computer going back and forth between the forum and e-Bay. So much to learn, so little time.

Probably 45 minutes per day. I'll go a few days sometime without checking the boards and then others days I may spend an hour or so catching up.

I run a seasonal biz, so during the winter, I keep the forum on a tab most of the day. It teaches me so much.

This summer I am getting WIFI at my biz so during down times I will here too.

So my answer is all day

a total of about one hour per day, broken into 3 or 4 sessions a day of 15-20 minutes each, on average.

Sometimes not at all for a few days, other times more than an hour at a time (depends on what's going on inside the forum and outside of it)

Unfortunately, not nearly as much time as I spend sifting and re-sifting through eBay auctions, in my (almost/usually) futile search to find accurately graded, reasonably-priced, original, NT, unmessed with, raw or TPG'd coins. image

I do this too. I just recently discovered that I can hold down the ctrl key and click on links and they each open in a new tab automatically.

Makes it really easy to peruse the "shared orders" page, I just go down the list and ctrl-click on each one on the page, then go back and read the tabs closing them as I go.
