Morgan experts, can I get a grade

The coin looks near spotless.. Would this be a proof? And how would you tell if it was. Did I do ok for $17.50?
Photo is from auction, as nice in hand. Grade please.

Well, I ain't no Morgan expert, but that photo is just blasted with light, very hard for anyone to render an opinion.

One way you can tell if it's proof or not is that if that was proof, they wouldn't let it out of the house for 17.50. More like $4000.

Between AU58 & MS64, possibly cleaned, possibly PL, possibly DMPL.

There's a 1921D Morgan this seller sold on the 7th. Notice how the overexposed half of the coin hides the deep hairlines. Nevertheless, the feedback, left on the 11th, was glowing.

Here's the example I was talking about. It's hard to say what you'll get. He's sold an ANACS & NTC (no hairlines). For $17.50, not a huge gamble anyway. Highly unlikely it's going to be a PL though. Best case scenario, it won't be a cleaned/polished coin like this 1921D.
