I'd say you did great--especially if you're a wild turkey fan.

Looks good to me. If you find any more silver at 3 bucks under spot let me know image

It sure is! Silver at $14.16 should make these worth about $70.80, you'll make about 10 bucks if you flip it

This looks like one of those fancy presentation boxes sold to enthusiasts at way over spot. These are usually real.

You did very well. Modern silver medals are doing VERY poorly on eBay lately. Many are going for well below silver value. What has happened is that bullion value has erased numismatic premiums. Collectors seem to be saying that they are not interested in silver at this price level.

Silver medals from the Alaska Mint and Royal Hawaiian Mint seem to be doing ok though I don't know how they have done historically. Alaska Mint silver art rounds seem to sell for about $40-60 an ounce. One 1989 Royal Hawaiian Mint silver art round recently sold for over $90 though most seem to be sell for around $40. It seems some still have a little numismatic premium while others may not.

    Yup,
She originally listed 2 times for $65 starting bid with no takers and then the one with the $55 BIN.

There are still some modern medals that command a premium...but not many. I recently auctioned a consigned 1988 enameled Superman 50th Anniversary one oz. round on eBay for $100.

Be sure to give it the silver detection bite test just to make sure it doesn't have a chocolate center. I'm sure York, Pa is close to Hershey.

Hmm. I live in York, PA, and I've never heard of the First Capital Mint. Must be good though. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
