New Purchases - Thanks to Russ - Pic

I just wanted to send out a public thank you to Russ and everyone else that posts to this board for opening my eyes. I have learned so much these past few months. My learning experience here has probably saved me a few thousand dollars in mistakes and has even made it a bit profitable, if I could pull the trigger to sell some things.

Today I walked into the coin shop that I have complained about in the past and spent an hour. This is the shop that tries to steal peoples coins from them by offering almost nothing for them. I picked up several coins for my various Danscos that I am filling and the following.

54 Proof Lincoln - slight cameo, but high grade
62 proof lincoln - Deep cameo, very high grade
A few very high grade FB toned Roosies
Several Proof Deep Cam, Rossies from the 65-70, very high grade

Last but not least I picked up the following, thus the thanks to Russ for opening my eyes to this variety. It's at least Cameo maybe better once I get it out of the plastic. The white spots are on the plastic, coin is very sharp looking, I'd say 66+. Paid $9 for this set.

For the Rossie fans:

Here are a couple of the dimes. I wish my scanner could show the real colors.

1948-D - Wonderful Golden yellow with hints of rose color
1956 - Blue and Rose with a little green around the edges
1946-S - Blue/green with a little rose color

I may also add that they seem to be high grade, all with FB.

That's what some people call "new purchases." Annoying little bit 'o coin lingo, if you ask me.

im not a roosie guy per ser, but I had the opportunity to pop out about 6 or so from a dansco before it got sold...Monster toners , I gotta get them imaged
