he is a good ebayer and a member of the 65 topps set registry. he is not the hi bidder (yet) I think he just got pissed off when a 7 arrived and he was expecting an 8. My problem was the title said 8, the picture and description showed 7. thus the confusion. I'm wondering why he did not reply to my emails.
I'm gonna let him bid...........................

I agree with Steve...after all those are nice cards Steve is offering and it's not like Steve didn't ship it or something like that. I'm sure the guy relooked at the #12 card auction and noticed clearly that the auction was marked for a 7, just the header was incorrect, but agreed that the buyer thought it was an 8 when he sent payment. So why not bid on the cards when looking to increase a registry set - really no reason not to.
I can't say why he's not responding to the e-mails...perhaps he would be willing to keep the #12 card for a price reduction or something like that if he wins some of your auctions.
Steve you should block him right away, don't let him deduct anything. Keep the transactions separate.
If I was unhappy with a seller I would never even consider bidding on something else they were selling until they made me happy over the first deal. The guy sounds mental.

Now he has something else to hold over the seller's head.

He returns the card, he gets a full refund. You then send him a couple of bucks for his postage, end of story. If he's not satisfied with that, tough.
You can't just trust people to return your merchandise. No professional company would do this for that very reason.
In these situations, you need to stay professional, but stay firm.

Buyer won 3 auctions that ended today for around 75.00
I emailed him and asked that he not use paypal, to mail me a check and deduct 38.00 from it. (aslo to include the card).
I have yet to hear from him though.
To complicate matters 2 invoices were sent today. How? i have no idea.
