I have 31 Mcgwires and counting.

With all the hype I bought a raw Boggs refreactor on ebay. Looks like a dead 9 or possible 10! I wouldn't mind picking up some raw ones for 30 bucks and selling 9's for 200+
  • Options
so jo are your imaginary refractors raw or graded?

    I have 36 refractor McGwires all graded. 4 PSA 8, 20 PSA 9, 12 PSA 10

Guess that blows the lid off your cornering the McGwire refractor market.

No offense but beckett dot com would probably be better suited for you IMO.

how rare are those things? i thought i heard somewhere that there are about 1000 +/- due to backdooring. if i was going to pump money into something, at least it would be fairly rare, very high demand, or a proven track record over decades. i thought when it comes to modern stuff, 100 or less is rare, but thats just me. what do i know. good luck with your venture. alot of eggs in one basket though. i think trying to pump the issue (as you did in your other threads) will backfire--it displays a lack of character. btw, how old are you??

What is the estimate of total refractors?

    I thought I remember like 40 or 41?

Bought four 93 McGwire Refractors last week, cut them up and flushed 'em down the johnny!

Next time I won't tell anyone unless they pay a handsome sum for the info.

I figure there's more satisfaction in holding the market hostage than cornering it.

Guess how many are left now!

stone- initially topps claimed 241 of each. its probably more like 1000 of each. they arent rare and this guy always tries to hype them as he did in his other thread. he claims he is trying to corner the mcgwire market. the problem is demand and he cant artificially inflate that.

Have plenty, with aloe too boot.

I was just taking one out of circulation and circulating it elsewhere.

Well, it is a problem I have. I have injected many many 1993 refractors. I think my family is planning an intervention on me. A producer from Dr Phil called and I think they are going to force me into a treatment center at Topps Company.

Guys, I don't wanna get everybody in an uproar, but I just busted 10 cases of 1993 Finest and every box had a McGwire refractor. So I did what any sane-minded individual would do and I melted them all down and built a "Super Refractor" of McGwire that measures 6 feet by 10 feet. Here's my friend Oscar standing in front of it:

A toss up for me. Either a promo pic from the 80s movie "The Lost Boys" or "Growin' Up Gotti." Perhaps "Throwin' Up Gotti."

Hey watch the midget jokes. I married one. image

They come in handy at the most opportune moments.

No she does no wrestle or let people toss her. image

    Of course I jest. She's 5' 1" or 2".

Just outside of midget range. But then again what constitutes a midget and what is a dwarf?

Good topic since America loves freaks.

I know a guy in law enforcement, a SWAT member who is completely weirded out by midgets. He comes unglued at the sight of them. Dress one up in a clown outfit and he's out the door screaming.

We had a midget that came in handy during my frat days. She was short enough to run full speed under our beer pong table and retrieve the balls. It was handy until she had a couple in her, then she gotta bit clumsy.
