What do you think of this Morgan? What grade do you think it is? Did I pay to much. I really like the look and tone of this coin. Wish I had more.ebay link

You got robbed bad, I am sure if you had it graded it would come back as AU58, the seller is well known for getting those grades. There is a reason his nickname was MR. AU58

You probably did OK pricewise. Not all collectors will like the toning, however. Personally, I think it is ugly.

HUM, I thought the toning was kind of nice? Funny sometimes when you bid on a coin and you see it in hand it is better in hand. Other times it’s a dog. I remember I posted a link asking for what others thought before I bid. I bid anyways on this Morgan that was scanned and kind of looked ugly. When I received it I about fell off my chair. It was a 1921 and had a killer PL look to it. On the reverse shinning though was this lovely pink mirror color and the obverse was this light purple mirror look shinning though the PL. I took it to a coin shop and he said it had a shot at a 64 maybe 65. He thought it was very nice also. Not bad for 21.00 + shipping. Those are the types of coins I look for on eBay. Sometimes I get lucky and sometimes not. The Not's are tossed into a square tube then sold on eBay when it fill it to the 20's. Yes I keep the others. I have approx 25 to 30 Morgan’s and 10 to 15 peace., All NT’s.
