I just received my first PCGS graded coin from Teletrade. There is an inventory control sticker over the PCGS hologram on the back side. Should I remove this or will that destroy the PCGS hologram under it? What have others done or does it even matter?

It will not mess up the hologram. I leave it on and write my cost on the sticker. It removes easily though

They always take at least 25% of the hologram off if I'm not careful.

You can buy stickers at places like Staples that don't leave a residue and won't damage the hollogram on the reverse. Some of the commercial ones that the dealers use leave an ugly residue that can be cleaned off, but they can also damage the hollograms if you care about those.

I buy the easily removalable stickers and write the price paid in code on the reverse along with the month and year in which I purchased the coin.

Sometimes, the sticker will remove parts of the hologram. It all depends on the type of sticker used and how long the sticker has been in place.

Its totally up to you as to whether or not you remove it, personally, I don't care for them and remove all of them.

DLRC has a sticker that covers the entire label area of the back of the slab and these get removed and placed on the DLRC Invoice.
