2002 Giveaway----WINNER INSIDE!!!!!!!!

Since I was another of the lucky winners of Shimmmys giveaway....I will hold mine in honor of New Years Day. The premise will be the number 2002. The number of coins is undetermined, however, they will be a mix of US and World coins. The denominations will total 2002......with each coins denomination counting as 1 point per.......example....a US dollar will be worth 100 points, a German 2 DM will be worth 200 points, a French 10 centimes will be worth 10 points, a US quarter worth 25 points, etc.........I will pick coins from my pile of extras until I reach 2002 points. There may be some duplicate countries, but I will try my best to avoid duplicate denominations from the same country. I have no set limit on how many coins end up in the pile, just whatever it takes.

Reply below to enter...and since so many won Shimmys giveaway, I will not be adding the "must have giveaway" stipulation. The next few weeks will be busy enough with giveaways as it is.



A winner will be picked at approximately 6PM EST on January 1, 2002.

Heres how I chose the winner.......I wrote a quick LPC program to generate a random number bewteen 1 and 45(the number of entrants, excluding the 2 dupe entries) and had it run itself 45 times. The entrants with the most hits(4 tied with 4 hits each) were again assigned numbers and the generator was run again, 4 times, and the entrant with the highest number of hits was the winner.

    Woo! Maybe I should add a new stipulation......

    Seriously though, I'm glad to see the number of people entering....I have the package made up, it consists roughly of 45 coins. It should stay there unless I find some more coins to add to it to remove some of the more common stuff I tossed in there. It is a good mix, however, 16 or 17 different countries.
