Looks nice. Love that 1878 B1 I am working on the same set. 63PL is a great grade.

Cool you should mention having the 7TF B1 reverses in PL/DMPL. These are very attractive coins as a group.

You really suck on that Wide Reed. Kiss my Registry Set!

Very nice group. High AU 99-o micro os are always nice. That VAM-7 might be relatively available, but 64 is a money grade for the date and the variety. Got me by a grade point on that VAM-79 PL. Congrats on that and in completing the PL B1 run!

First you hear about VAMs, then you read an article or .... forum board......... Then you dig out the few Morgans in your bottom drawer and see one. The rest is history.

    Nice work Yale...

Yeah it is exactly like that. From skeptic to cheap-seats laughter to a tickle of curiousity to picking up your few Morgans and seeing that first clashmark/doubled motto to full blown fanatic.

Not that I would know from experience.

I feel the same way when I read stuff like O-101a, Overton yada yada, Breen yoohoo, Fuld something or another.

The 21-P wide reed was on ebay listed as a PQ MS65, but was unattributed, so it sold for "common" money. Seller claimed that he cherrypicked the coin, but I think he was simply saying that he selected it as the best looking from a large group of 65's. Little did he know that he was the one being cherrypicked. Since the 27a has the large die gouges above "STATES" on the reverse, it was easily spotted, and fortunately it was a Buy-It-Now, and I guess I saw it first.
