What Do You Think Of My Potty Dollar And Her Friend?

I've had these for a couple of years; bought them at the same time. I think they've both been cleaned at one time and have retoned. They are sure twins! The potty dollar is much nicer than any I've seen offered on eBay. What do you think?

mepot, that's an excellent example as well. The seated dollars are at least 10X as rare as the trade potty dollars, in my experience. .....although they don't draw that big of a premium.

Bill Fivaz wrote a nice article on Hobo nickels, the carving of which, I assume, evolved from the use of 19th century coins, and probably for the same reasons. Here are a couple of examples I found on ebay. I never thought of sending mine in to NCS. I know ANACS won’t slab it.

I like her and I think she's a well-made example, but I think it's unfortunate that she didn't get a small, tidy hole drilled at 12:00 so I could wear her on my Holey Coin Vest!

A nicely matched pair, those are. Sort of like the "Maja Desnuda/Maja Vestida" paintings by Goya (Naked Maja/Clothed Maja).

Potty dollars are definitely interesting.

Cartwheel- what is she holding in her right hand? The lid to the pot? If so, doesn't it look a little too big?

Mepot- I have never seen a Seated dollar potty-ized before!
