2000th post
It seems like only yesterday I made my first post here. Actually it was August 1, 2006 and here it is. RichieURich's First Post. All but two of my now 2,000 posts have been insightful, informative, witty, friendly, and/or very funny. (You will have to select the two that weren't.)
I have met great people here, many of whom are very intelligent and well-informed numismatists willing to share their knowledge with all of us who post here. I have become a better dealer as a predictable result of reading the many questions and answers and all of the issues discussed here, whether they be NT vs. AT, eBay, moderns and classics, major rarities and common coins, how to buy and how to sell, coin photography, DCAM/CAM/and nocam, and the intricacies of certain coin series. I have answered as many questions as I could intelligently answer, even the difficult and thought provoking questions from Longacre and MrEureka. Because of the Forum, I even purchased one of the 20th Anniversary Gold American Eagle sets and some of the silver ones, so I did directly profit although I haven't attempted to sell the sets as yet.
I want to thank PCGS for providing these forums, and I believe they provide incremental revenue to PCGS. I want to also thank the Forum members who post questions and answers and commentary on all of the events and issues in the U. S. coin arena. I will have a giveaway coming up in conjunction with my upcoming website and I hope many of you can participate in that.

it seems like I should have 2000 or more from the time I spend on this thing.....I read a WHOLE lot more than I post.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
Congrats bud!
Just slightly passed that count myself, but it has taken me a lot longer to get there.

<< <i>Richard Shipp, you have to pick the 2 bad posts, so everyone might have a different choice over which ones were the worst. So a consensus of posters might come up with a group that includes more than 2 baddies.
Just got done checking and great news....... didn't find a single one what wasn't insightful, informative, witty, friendly, and/or very funny
