Eyebone, NickM, RemynSklyer, and Bunker are on tap today with their predictions of Feb. 6. Would love to see grades pop today so the tiebreaker could be utilized.

Man you still haven't received the grades? Thats a bummer. I think 2-8-07 is going to be the day. Oh yeah and 15 8's
My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

This is the 33rd or 34th business day, depending on whether PSA was open on MLK Day. So anyone who guesses at this point has a great shot at winning the contest. Maybe today is the day.......a couple of similar subs popped at the end of last week.

<< <i>Bunker, why not make it easier on yourself and just choose the entire month of February and guess an amount of anywhere between 0-50 PSA 8's? >>
I guess you are right and maybe I should. This has been going on for 32 days and I have already guessed 5 different dates.
I did not see this post and caught up in all the excitment:
Well today is another day. One clarification to the contest: one guess only. When you're eliminated, you're eliminated. That said, sfmays24 is at the plate today.

Comments: 1954 Topps - few surprises there; I knew these were nice and hoped to get a few 8's.
1955 and '56 Topps - thought Stewart and/or Rhodes were 8's. Oh well.
1957 Topps - Mathews #1 is a disappointment. It's a very high end 7. On the other hand, Mathews #2 is a nice surprise.....thought it was a 6. The Fornieles 9 is a terrific surprise! Not sure what happene with Wynn, Parnell, and Blasingame. All other 57's were as expected.
1960/61 Topps - Bunning was as expected. All the 61's were as expected, except Minoso which I wasn't sure about.
1962 Topps - not surprised to see the WS card not holdered. I had suspicions about that one. Reniff (the error version) was as expected.
1963 Topps - JC Martin (rare series) in a 9 is awesome.
1964 Topps - Frank Robby ($20 card show purchase) was as expected.
1970 Topps - Killebrew ($8 card shop purchase) was as expected.
All in all, pretty happy with 26 eights, two 9's, and 16 sevens. And I am happy to announce that the winner is.............................................................AKBARCLONE, with his prediction of 2/13/07! He'll be getting his prize shipped out later this week!
