    My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

    I am still waiting for my submission that was entered on 12/19. I would take a guess on yours, but I was one of the first one eliminated. This is by far the longest I have ever had to wait. They passed the old record two weeks ago.

    Mark J - I saw that a couple of submissions similar to mine that were received on 12/18 popped last week. Both were roughly 50 card submissions in years similar to mine. Hopefully that means both you and I will be getting good news this week.

    This is the longest I have had to wait as well.
