<< <i>What a crying shame about the full thumb print in front of Liberty's portrait though A mishandled coin is a mishandled coin, color or not. >>
Can anybody here who works at a CSI-(city-of-your-choice) and can ID that fingerprint, call the local constable and aprehend the perpretrader with the fat thumb and take him jail. What a crying shame! Strangely enough, I just bought an 1882-S rainbow Morgan 2 days ago. The difference is the front is rainbowed.

Can you take a minute to explain this comment PrivateCoinCollector?
PCGS graders were drinking kool aid? If this isn't AT I don't know what is!
Bottom line.... "If it's pretty and you like it is all that matters." I learned that right here.
<< <i>DUDE!!! Interesting toning/color. Now that's some "color." I'd like to see some pull-away and the color not all over the tops of the letters etc. and would like to see different shades of color inside the devices. Perhaps it blend a bit better, and could do without that spotty color stuff as well. I wish I could un-see the prints on the obverse. AND, it's not Battle Creek so it can't be much.

Well spoken Steve... especially the comment about it "not being a Battle Creek so it can't be much".
You have some very crazy coins !

You probably have never seen a real NT Moose color Morgan in hand.Bear, not directed at you as i know you have owned some beautiful coins. The problem with people who are always planting doubt about monster toned Morgans, and i dont collect reverse toned ones,so i have no interest in this coin,is that they have never seen one ,owned one,or are just plain jealous.Hey,what do i know,or Sunnywood,or GSA Guy,or Shep,Tom B,Curtis,Toneddollars, gemtone, coingame 2000,newmismitist,Art r.Mugno,Dragon,Kimmel,Fountainheadgold,Hadleydog,or any folks i forgot to mention who actually know real bag toning.JMHO

<< <i>The coin is not mine. I have seen it in hand, and its beautiful. Natural bag toning IMO. >>
Who owns it now? Is it one of Larry's?

Imagine what this coin would be worth with this color on the obverse?

<< <i>Sorry stman, your wrong on this one. I have coins that show both pull-away on some portions while others have the devices covered. At least your response had some thought put into it. >>
Hadleydog, sorry, I wasn't wrong, I said what I'd LIKE to see. I am entitled to say what I'd LIKE to see I hope.
My quote on your comment.....

I really trust your opinion. Especially your example of what a VF Morgan looks like...

The "Poor" Morgan looks like an AG3. So it all evens out!

Who knows who's thumb print that might be???
A beauty of a coin, however
I bought this as a retirement gift for my older brother, who retired, kinda, at 52.
<< <i>Eh, I threw in my bid, but I won't go any higher.. nice coin, though! >>
