    didn't buy much at that time but I've been a buyer of Gold, Silver, and Platinum coins since 1999 so I have about all I care to have since I'd need another safety deposit box.

    So the real question is what's up for the dollar now? We've had a 1/2 point, a 3/4 point, and now rebates that have caused the dollar to go up and down but presently up in one months time. What will they do next after this wears off since they'd announced another before the previous one hit. Seems to me they are trying to force people out of the money markets and into the stock market to make money. IMO this is the time to preserve capitol and not take risk. I know I won't be buying until the DOW is below 10,000 and I'm willing to wait out the rest of the year. There's not any positive news except what has been created in the last month as mentioned above. JMO
