The holy grail is my icon, as far as I am concerned, but the Ultra High Relief is certainly second.
As far as regular issues go, the 27-d will probably be tied with the 1933 when they are finally dispersed.

Is the ultra high relief a regular issue or is it a pattern? If its a pattern, do you really need it to have a complete collection? My holy grail Saint is the high relief owned by Teddy Roosevelt.

The Extremely High Relief (aka "ultrahigh relief"), Very High Relief and Liberty Head $20 are all pattern or experimental pieces. Only the high relief and normal (low relief) versions were issued for circulation.

As a date I think you have to go with the 1927-D, unless the government ever makes it legal to own 1933 coins.
If it's a single specific coin, a high relief in 69 is a pretty compelling choice.
Of course. It's no more difficult than the 64/65 line.

Probably true - I can't tell the difference between those either.

Of course. Look at the label on the slab, PCGS makes it very easy to determine the grade.
