When will the 2006 AGE "W" sets sell out?

They are still available, which means the fractional mintage figures are still out there--will they all still come in under the 1991s? And--should those who bought have them slabbed? Just curious!

    No info.

but the latest NN had about 2200 4 coin sets sold.

I would think if they had a ton of 4-coin sets left, they wouldn't have sold out the fractionals. I mean, they might as well make money where they can. The question is; how many fractionals did they save for the 4-coin sets?

I'll throw a number out there and guess they have 5000 4-coin sets total, that would leave 2700 more to sell. This would still keep the 1/4 and 1/2 under 10,000, but may take a little longer because people don't want to pay for the 1 oz'er.

I just can't imagine they have 10,000 - 1/2, 1/4 and 1/10 waiting for people to buy the 4-coin set.

There was a lot of excitement over these AGE fractional Unc's last week.....maybe a new ground swell will arise.

I assume they mint more of these guys when compared to their platinum counterpart.

I think he is correct. I have reason to believe that 5000 or less is the number.

  • I hope so--got to pay for my wife's new Lexus!!! She, unfortunately, doesn't collect coins--much to my dismay! Not that my AGEs will pay for it--but they will make a dent. No posts wanted from those who say don't spend real money for a rapidly depreciating asset--but as I said it's my wife's Lexus--I drive a 1993 Trooper. Still, I wonder, should I send them all to PCGS if I want to make some money--I won't hold too long as they aren't collector coins--just trendy bullion. Have a great New Year!!
