    I know less than Barndog.

Oh...... I do know that if you start a thread telling people to "suck eggs"; crap like this happens.

Hello, my name is Jerry and I'm a "jack of all trades and a master of none". I know a little about most things, quite a bit about many things, and a whole lot about nothing. Some of the areas where I have managed to know quite a bit about include:

    Astronomy
    Motorcycles
    Golf
    Machining
    Physic
    Equities
    Kids
    Optics
    Wine
    How things work
    Coins
    Nascar
    Women

The last one comes with the caveat that you never know when your understanding may be discounted by the whims of an individual. I read the intro to Walter Breen's early Large Cents book today. His interests/expertise extened well beyond coins into areas such as classical languages, economics, sexology, and baroque and medieval music. He is described by one of his close friends as the only true Renaissance man he ever knew.

    Hi, I'm Brian

I never know exactly what is going to happen in the future.

I rarely know more than a handful of important phone numbers.

I occassionally know when to keep my mouth shut.

I usually know a good deal when I see one.

I always know my wife knows a lot more than me.
    HAPPY COLLECTING!!!

I used to know it all when there was less to know, but I haven't kept up to date. Now I not only don't know it all, I've forgotten what I did know. image

I'm AuldFartte and I know a little about a lot, and a lot about very little, but I do know that I have an intense love of Large Cents, and an equally intense dislike of annoying arrogant little weenies such as "lovers of gold coins" and "ones who thing they are real" image

I know alot about everything, that's why "they call me renman." I didn't ask for it, it was bestowed upon me.

Actually, I know my wife and four kids and what they need and made changes accordingly.

I know my 2 adopted kids (from Ethiopia) will teach me more than my vast travels.

I know that my perspective from the air grounds me.

I know when I surf or snowboard nothing else matters for the moment.

I know enough about Walter Breen to second that. In all sincerity, Walter sure was a true Renaissance Man, with an overshadowing dark side that ruined him and his legacy.

I'm Rich Uhrich and I was a collector for a long time before I became a full-time dealer in January 2006. I deal in copper, nickel, and silver U. S. coins from 1792 to date, with an emphasis on the 18th and 19th century ones. I talk to a lot of people, look at a lot of coins, and read a lot to gain knowledge. I know a reasonable amount about most of the aforementioned coin series, although I will readily admit that I am not the most knowledgeable forum member on any particular series. I also have a sense of humor that shows up in many threads, that has been described as wry, cynical, unusual, and punny. An example (from a Tom Noe thread) is shown below:

<< <i>If we would know what Noe knows and know what Noe doesn't know, we would know whether they were too harsh on Noe, but maybe they were too harsh on Noe because they didn't know what Noe knew when they knew that money was missing, but they didn't know that Noe's records wouldn't allow us to know what Noe knew about where all of the money was, and know that Noe knew that the records were so messed up that no one would know where the money was.

Now after that last sentence, I know you're going to say "That's easy for you to say", but no, it isn't. >>

There's a certain coffee shop on the edge of a big park I like to go to from time to time. Anyways, about everytime I go there to get a cup of the bestest coffee in the world, a frumpy old gent always tries to hit me up for change. Among his barely coherent ramblings he often states he has degrees in astrophysics and nuclear engineering. Are you him, derrybe?

If you are him, I'll at least say you know how to get a free cup of the greatest coffee. Don't be so down on yourself - it's almost Christmas. image

It's not truly that important to know it all.......

It's far more important to know where to look when you need to know something......

I know how to look for a good deal when buying coins. Which implies that I know a broad based knowledge of most U.S. coins.

I know a ton about running and tennis.

I know I'm going to college next year.
