Wow, I am going to have to go through all my Buffalo's and regrade based on this new benchmark. Imagine what we get to start calling MS. I would like to met the guy who buys it, I could give him some deals!
I thought it was a 1918/7-D at first, but it clearly has an "S" mintmark. And that's about all that is "clear"! Maybe just a mistake ("mechanical error") by NGC on this one?

FTR, I have no financial interest in this coin.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
You have spoken that the market would never support this coin at AU prices.
