Good way for my mom to get into Ebaying her coins?

My mom has collected many coins over the years and she finally wants to get around to selling some of them off. I only have experience in sports cards and am clueless as far as coins go.
She has a bunch of American Silver Eagle coins in their own little snap cases. If I remember correctly the years vary between about 1988 to 1991. I know for sure at least some are 1989 and 1990. She has a variety of other coins but she wants to start with these.
They're all in these cases. Some seem perfect to my eyes, some are a little scuffed from handling and some have that rainbowing around the edge.

What would you recommend as far as getting her started? What's a good way to present them in the auction? What's a good starting price? Any tips you may have would be helpful. She's a total Ebay noob so I'm sure just about every tip will help.
Thanks much - Kevin

<< <i>Kevin, she may do better putting them up via you through the "buy, sell, trade," forum right here on the PCGS website. Honestly.

I agree. Especially with fairly decent images, maybe like the one you posted but about double the size. Accurate color is the most important thing with coins such as these, particularly if they have toned around the edges as you state. That is often desireable if it's colorful, if it's cruddy/black/ugly then it's not.
As stated earlier, the only coin with higher than bullion value would be the 1996 and those are subject to milk spotting just like the rest which can affect their value.
I actually have quite a few SAE's but none that I would auction off due to their condition. Given that, I could not nor chould not expect more than bullion value.
What else does she have??
The name is LEE!
If I remember correctly there is a handful with some nice rainbow-y toning, but i thought that was bad. I'll try to get some pics up.
I'll see what kinda pics I can get tomorrow and show you guys.
Edit: That's not my pic. I stole a Ebay pic that had the same casing.
If I don't use flash they're kinda dark and brownish from my lights. Then if I use the flash it reflects like crazy.
Edit: Also my scanner makes em look all funky so I'm not sure that'd work.
