Apropos of the coin posse/aka caca: "The longer he spoke of his honor, the tighter I held to my purse."

<< <i>Looks very authentic. They provide a link to the resolution center which I never clicked on. The mispelling of words is a dead giveaway. My account has not been compromised. >>
What spelling mistakes?
As itsnotjustme pointed out:
apologise = British/Canadian/etc. English
apologize = US English

Got this response.
<< <i>Thank you for contacting PayPal about a fraudulent (spoof) email or Web site. We appreciate you bringing this suspicious email to our attention.
We can confirm that the email you received was not sent by PayPal. Any website which may be linked to this email is not authorized or used by PayPal. >>
Never, EVER respond to such emails by clicking on the link provided, no matter how "authentic" they appear." ALWAYS go directly to Ebay, Paypal, the Bank site, etc, and log in to your account directly. If there's anything amiss, you'll find the information that way. With all the ID theft going on, NO reputable business would expect you to click on a link to address account information any more.
And as has been pointed out, just forward suspicious looking emails like this to spoof@paypal.com or spoof@ebay.com, and they'll review it for you.
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
<< <i>"The mispelling of words is a dead giveaway. " >>
I agree, but you misspelled "mispelled." Twice.

<< <i>You can also forward them to <a href="mailto:spoof@paypal.com">spoof@paypal.com</A> or <a href="mailto:spoof@ebay.com">spoof@ebay.com</A> for ebay spoofs and they will get back to you.

I have sent two spoof emails to ebay in the last month and they never replied to me. Both of the emails where to an email account that has never been linked to ebay so I know they were fake.
