Some folks say that a lot of attractive blue-toned copper pieces are legitimate NT- so I wonder if there are any ways to determine NT blue-toned copper from AT blue-toned copper......
My style is impetuous, my defense is impregnable !
On PF IHCs, I've seen some pink & aqua toning on areas of the raised portions of the coins, ie., the wreath on the reverse. Shylock knows more about / has seen more of this than I have. As far as I'm concerned, if the entire coin is dark blue or purple, you can thank Monsanto or Dow.
Sorry, that 2 cent piece reminds me of a Huichol Indian painting after doing peyote.

More to the point its blue copper on the market from certain sellers that is being questioned.
I would hold off any opinions until I had the coin in hand. Pinnacle doesn't always capture colors correctly. That's not a slam agains Pinnacle, but I've received coins that look nothing like the image. The same with other dealers too.

Funny, that's exactly what I was thinking when I saw it.
That's lovely and clearly NT.
