  • Two other Krause publications include Mexican coins at least once during the year - COINS and COIN PRICES; COINS in November and COIN PRICES in March. There may be other releases during the year but those are the months I have. Grades/values range from Fine to Uncirculated but there are no dates before 1905 listed.

  • Another Krause Publication I found today at Barnes & Noble:

2007 North American Coins & Prices
A Guide to U.S., Canadian & Mexican Coins
    16th Edition

    $20 + tax

Almost 200 pages of Mexican coins from 1701 (Cob coinage) to 2003. Sure beats 3 different SCoWC's.
A lot easier to find than the COINS and COIN PRICES magazines unless you have a subscription.

I agree--but try Amazon. It's like $13 and is one of the books you can get free shipping on (If you buy over $25.) I combined it with a very good history of Mexico by Ferenbach that I've wanted to read. In addition to free shipping there is no tax. My order took like 4 days.

Edit: Also try www.mexicancoinmagic.com which is an online journal full of articles etc. on Mexican coinage. It's well worth looking at.
