Do any board members collect heavily circulated gold?

The more and more I look at these coins, the more interesting they become. I have yet to buy anything but I am thinking this might be a fun project.
Anyone else agree or I am crazy?

Huh? I do occasionally buy a heavily circulated piece, especially a rare date like:

<< <i>And it was this coin that got me started with circulated gold. The only criteria is that it has to be minted between 1838 and 1861 and it has to have a little D on it. I would have one hell of a lot more money today if I had not bought this coin.
I can say the same about my 48-D $5, photo below. Were it not for that one coin, I might be rich!
Of course they won't be nearly as nice as the coins in this thread. WOW.
To many current interests however.....
You said "heavily circulated". How 'bout heavily... uh... heavily... USED?
(or abused, if you prefer.)

Maybe not "heavily circulated" but definitely circ and my current favorite original dirt.
