The coin is beautiful, with a strong strike, outstanding luster and nice toning, but in my humble opinion, the fingerprints should most certainly keep it out of 67 territory.

Blue and silver, that's a nice combination (but those slab scratches have to go).

That's the thing with good photos, they tend to overemphasize so called problems that are barely visible in hand. The FPs almost stopped me from buying it, but in hand they are practically not here, let alone that the toning is predominantly blue but also yellow and purple, not necessarilly apparent in the above photos, a still image can only go so far.Outstanding luster too and a better reverse than the photos suggest.

So IMHO Mike, the 67 is well earned on technical and eye appeal together.

Actually the holder scratches are indeed more distracting. But it's a stunning coin and congrats to cp for his great photography on this one.

One of the great tragedies of the 19th century is that Friedrich III didn't live long enough to influence German politics from the throne.

A very nice coin, Dimitri. I find the FPs to be not distracting at all.

Actually the holder scratches are indeed more distracting.

This product works wonders on PCGS/NGC slab scratches:
