'99 and '00 Upper Deck MVP gold script (#/100) football, baseball, and basketball - I know of 2 other people working on the football sets, but no one else who appears to be regularly collecting the other 2 sports. Jerry Porter #ed and/or autographed rookies - I know of 1 other person who appears to be doing this, but I'm a lot more anal about it. R423 (raw and graded, including strips) - I know of 1 other person doing this set graded, and he's far more complete than I. 1968 Topps Venezuelan - maybe 3 or 4 other people are working on this. I could probably think up several more.
I decided also to start a Topps NY Giants team card set. Mostly the 1950-1960s era.
NickM-I have an Erick Barkley UD MVP Gold Script rookie. Let me know.

<< <i>............If anyone ever has the chance, check out the pictures on the backs of 1990 Upper Deck, there are really great shots back there.............. >>
Since Griffey Jr. was my favorite player as a kid, I'm trying to get as many of his cards as possible. I'm also building sets from the year that I was born, 1979.

Not exactly on topic, but I too have a complete run of Topps sets from my birth year (1980) to 2004 (I haven't gotten around to 2005 and 2006 yet). Sometimes I wish I hadn't sold those 1976-79 sets a few years back to help pay off my student loan (the 1978 and 1979 sets were especially awesome condition wise).
I don't think I have anything that no one else is working on.
My main collection focus is on Ben Sheets. I have about 700 different right now.
I also collect former LSU players in all sports. Autographs, cards, whatever. I've enjoyed that because you can get a lot of them out of packs, most autos are cheap, and there are a lot of players through all years.
The only thing I do collect (albeit randomly) that others may not is old soccer cards.
<< <i>Did not read the whole thread because I do not want to, but I want to collect the whole 1986-87 Kraft Drawings Hockey set it Gem Mint 10 condition, I am about 75% of the way through, and it is not solely PSA! That set is an underrated gem!!! >>
Hardcore, I love that set! Very attractive. Got some scans to share?
Hopefully i have some "Hollywood" Star cards that will grade 8's, 9's, and 10's. Most of them are early tobacco cards from the 20's and 30's. Started collecting those in the mid 70's. I probably have several thousand cards by now and will have to start cherry picking them in the future for grading. Some are virtually impossible to find on ebay. Few have been graded that i have as well. Some, none have been graded at all.
