Does the Liberty "Indian Princess" look goofy?

I think so. Gold dollars and threes. Liberty looks goofy wearing feathers. Even the Phrygian cap looks better.
Not as bad on the IHC.

The image combines the American themes of an Indian headdress with the classic look of an ancient Egyptian princess. And one bonus was the design struck up well quite consistently.

If you want to talk about a strange look, how about the Ms. Liberty with no cheekbones that appeared on the Liberty Head $2.50, $5 and $10 gold coins?

I think those are some of the better liberty designs. I actually think the capped bust design is a bit unattractive as were many of the large cent designs.

I don't know about "goofy", but I don't particularly like the T3 $1 designs or the $3's (both the same). I much perfer the T1 and T2 gold dollars. I like the look of Liberty on QE's, HE's, and eagles, though.
