Same here, I paid $545 last february. Could have bought numerous more at that price. They were all over ebay.

It may surprise some around here that I collect modern commems too. Got my UNC Cap Vis Ctr from the mint too. My records show a cost basis of $189. It was submitted to PCGS (MS69) so I don't know if that includes the grading fee or not. Sometimes I forget to update the cost basis after I have them graded.image

Not too shabby of a return for a piece of Modern Crap™image
  • I payed 225.00 for the set from the mint.image

6,761 is the correct mintage on the MS coin. It is the 10th lowest minted type coin produced by the US Mint since the 1915 Pan Pacs. Most of the coins in the top 9 spots above it are Proof Platinum coins dated 2004 and 2005.

Sometimes you have to say I am such a MORON. I had a CVC PCGS 70 Unc and sold it for about $500 a month after buying it as I was changing my collecting focus. Needless to say about three months later it hit the moon. Fortunately, not all my experiences have been like this, but I look back and say Oooops !!!
