I cannot believe how much time I have spent (wasted?) here! Nonetheless, I will go on about my business posting here as I see fit and without regrads to the contest. The forum member who guesses the date/time (Central time zone) closest to my 15,000th post will receive a lovely 1993 James Madison MS commemorative half, like the one pictured below, raw and pedigreed to the "Keets Collection". Any ties, conflicts, disputes will be resolved by my forum attorney, Longacre, when he returns home. Hopefully, between now and my 15,000th post, I will find something worthwhile to contribute as #15,000.

    My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
