Also, the representation of the surfaces is different; without personally seeing the coin, I like the detail and sense of depth of #2
I don't like the cropping of #2 though. Then again, I don't like to crop pictures of slabbed coins, especially irregular ones; it just doesn't work well.
Slab label was poorly done on #2.
Slab label intrudes on coin boundary on #1.
Can see portait clearly on both... if I know to look for it.
