So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
If you had to guess right now you would have to say the Yankees. They're around +170 to win it all at most books, which is 40 cents or so less than the Mets, and they're the prohibitive favorite to come out of the AL.
One thing I know for sure-- if the Yanks and Mets square off in the WS I probably won't watch a single inning of the fall classic.

I did not watch one pitch of the Red Sox series either. Just could not do it. Would have been too painful. If payroll is the ONLY reason why you won't watch then so be it and I can't really blame ya. I am sure Fox IS NOT hoping for that match up. The Dodgers / Yankees or the Mets / Padres (East coast vs the west coast) would be the best thing for TV ratings. However, in the entire NY area .... the world will stand still once again if the Yanks and Mets meet.

No, not a payroll thing. It would just be one of those series' where I really don't care who wins. Kind of like the '02 series in that sense.
